About the Club

We are a friendly group of model yacht enthusiasts, who enjoy getting together for competitive races at the weekends and friendly sails during the week. Radio Controlled Model Yacht Racing is a competitive sport and the Club is affiliated to the Model Yachting Association. (www.mya-uk.org.uk)

Cotswold Water Parks Model Yacht Lake

We race 1m IOM class model yachts on a beautiful purpose built lake at the Cotswold Water Park at South Cerney, in a private area dedicated to our sport and can be found here every Sunday, come rain or shine! Some members also own the ‘Footy’ Class of yacht and races for this yacht are arranged on an ad hoc basis between members.

Sailing is open to anyone and we welcome you to come along to watch, try it out for free, or to bring your own 1m model boats along.
